Good morning all,
Each year at the spring SMUG meeting we elect a new co-chair. I will be rotating off. Cindy Koch will continue for another year.
So what is involved with being a co-chair? Essentially, there are two duties.
1) The co-chairs help to plan the spring SMUG meeting which basically entails finding a site to host and communicating with the SMUG members to decide what we’d like to accomplish at our meeting.
2) The co-chairs serve as representatives to the SAGE Summit (Millennium) Steering Committee where they advise and assist with the programming for the national conference. This is accomplished through conference calls with Jill Steward and the other MUG co-chairs. We are also asked to help contact our memberships to encourage them to present at SAGE Summit.
If you would like to nominate yourself, please just let me know.
If you would like to nominate someone else, please ask them first and then let me know.
Send names directly to me at email@example.com
I will send out the roster on Friday morning and will ask everyone to vote then. Normally, we announce our next co-chair mid morning. One vote per SMUG site.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
